Flake graphite is a natural solid lubricant with a layered structure. It has complete crystallization, thin flakes, good toughness, and excellent physical and chemical properties such as good temperature resistance, self-lubrication, conductivity, thermal shock resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Expandable graphite, obtained from natural flake graphite through intercalation, washing, drying, and high-temperature expansion, offers not only the excellent properties of natural graphite but also softness, compression rebound, adsorption, and radiation resistance. Applications: Various industrial greases and industrial oils, fire retardants, and sealing materials.
Carbon raisers, including ordinary carbon raisers and graphite carbon raisers, play a role in adding carbon during steelmaking and casting to increase the strength of steel and castings. Graphite carbon raisers can be divided into four types: graphitized pitch coke, graphitized petroleum coke, artificial graphite granules, and electrode scraps. Applications: Refractories and foundry industry.
Amorphous graphite, also known as microcrystalline graphite or black lead powder, features stable chemical properties, extremely low sulfur and iron content, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, oxidation resistance, plasticity, lubrication, thermal conductivity, and electrical conductivity. Applications: Foundry, refractory, oilfield drilling, desulfurizer, corrosion inhibitor, lubricant, carbon raiser, ingot protection slag, etc.
